lol true... was anybody in here born into a Wiccan family?? It seems most people find the calling on their own so I was just wondering.

but when you come into any religion on your own it always makes you closer because you did after all, do it on your own and have worked that much harder.

i agree - its a lot harder to walk your path into wicca without help....esp if you do it alone, without wiccan family and friends - like me. I rememeber how hard I struggled at first, to try and to the correct things. But slowly I realized that every book told me to do a differnt thing, so eventually I caught on and started doing MY OWN thing, whatever worked for me. At times now, I still do struggle a little bit. (lol divination! another bad attempt last night!) But it gets easier. I still wish I had wiccan friends and family who guided me into the path of wicca at the beginnig, it wouldve been soo much easier.

-agreed, but I'm just thankful that I was able to hear this new path and seek it out. I have about two Pagan friends one's Wiccan and the other's a Druid, or atleast I'm pretty sure that's what she is I'd have to talk to her about it more. I know a few Pagan adults also but I wouldn't call them my friends lol colleagues or something maybe. It definetly helps though.

well while researchng the family tree i have found witchcraft heritage but none in recent years. 3 ancestors where burnt or so i think. But during the times when they where killed who accually knows if they where witches for people where killed for the supidess reasons

o gosh that's absolutly horrible... everything about that was and is. For Samhain I'm going to especially do something for all those who passed during those times, witch or not! Hmm... I wonder if any of my ancestors were witches...

oh wow that is horrible KA its really unfair eh? But at least things are better in our days so i guess im not really one to complain! But hey, at least you have some sort of Witchy bloodline lol! (although i doubt this makes a difference!) Lunar you're pretty lucky you have friends and other adults that are wiccan/pagan! It must be great having someone to help you along the way...or at least for someone to share ideas and thoughts with!

Claire my sunday belly dance teacher (though she's only thirteen!) I atleast know she's a Pagan but there's Druidry stuff in her room so I'm pretty sure that's her. She says I should come with her to their next ritual... she's not in a coven but they all know eachoter and sometimes get together apparently. So you don't know her but have heard of her lol. And then NIck's dad is a Pagan too, that was interesting news lol.
