I don't have a tatoo...yet lol I might get one but I think I'll wait just to be sure I know what I want...I had been thinking a small goddess symbol, er I don't know exactly what its called but like the goddess has her arms up 'holding' the triple moon? know what I'm talking about? I don't know where I'd put it though, I'd want it somewhere where I could hide it if I wanted to but show it off if I choose. I was thinking maybe the inside of my ankle...but we shall see lol one thing at a time, I'm planning on a Canada trip this Friday w/ some co-workers since I just turned 19;) I don't think I'd want a shoulder tattoo because my friends cuz had one and when she got married she had a halter type dress and you could SEE her tattoo! ugh I wouldn't want that at all! I will probably end up waiting til mid 20's at least, as I said before I just turned 19 but so many things could change in 5 or 6 years, I don't want to put something so permanent on my body that I may regret...this young teacher I was friends with used to tell me to wait lol because something you get at 18 or 19 might mean nothing to you when your 25, that you have a better sense of who you are when your older. I'd have to say I probably agree, at least for myself lol I have trouble making a choice in Majors (which is still changeable) so I can't imagine making such a permanent decision for my body lol Wow I'm rambling now sorry! Blessings!

Umi, your tattoo sounds gorgeous, Anyway for everyone that's curious about it, bone hurts more than fat, so your ass would probably be less painfull than your shouldblade and if you just stick to the outlining, it's not so bad.. I have done some research before I take one, cus I don't have one yet, but what I want is a pentagrammaton (small) in the middle of my back, and as a horizontal line all the runes and than finish them off with sweet outlines and little ivy branches... I was thinking I want the triple goddess symbol in it too, but I don't see any fit for it anymore.... :S but I'm all excited about it

I love tattoos. It's true what they say, they are addictive. I have 5 tattoos, and I have 2 in mind that I'm planning. My most recent is the sign of the triple goddess, with a pentacle inside the full moon, on the back of my neck.

The truth about tattoos is you never know if it's going to hurt until you get it done I have 1) a dragon holding a heart and blowing fire into the air on my ankel and it's completly tribal with a mix of red and blue. It didn't hurt at all, got it a diggers in adarsville Ga. 2) a heart with a halo and demon horn on my left arm also tribal didn't hurt. same shop/ parlor they do good work. 3) a wolf dragon hybrid that goes down my spine inbetween the shoulder blades and his head peaks out if I don't wear colard shirts he is one of my favorits because it did hurt when the guy hit my neck, but it needs to be fixed I got it in a traylor from an apparent artist. It took 3 months to draw and it got put on in an hour and I feel like he rushed it. My advice never ever get a cheap tat and always look at there portfolio first if they don't have one then there either new or there not experianced at all and if you get one at home it can be good but the artists heart has to be in the work. Also I'd advise not getting a lovers name or a spose name put on so far it seems to be a curse with what my family has experianced. But if you don't have one take your time finding a design and make sure it's something you really want.
