last night i was sitting on my poarch enjoying the nearly full moon and getting lost in thought - as always - when i started thinking about the lord and lady in relation to the sun and moon, and the sun giving light to the moon and energies to the earth and in a sense this being the god's doings, and suddenly realized something. the god's light and warmth is his love as i've come to believe and the cycle of the sun's energies from the moon to the tide or to the earth and the plants to the animals and so forth. life survives on love. anyway, i just thought i'd share that thought.
actually on a side note, the area around the moon last night was green. *blink* i've never seen that before. it was a green haze, not in a circle just kind of ... gathered around the moon. almost as if the yellow - when the moon first rose it was that yellow color - had seeped out into the blue of the sky and made green. *blink again* have any of you ever seen that before?

Yeah acutually I have seen lots of weird things around the moon. *Starts laughing* sorry my cat just fell. ;D People you have try laying out side and stare up at the night sky for few hours. It's amazing wat you can find, and how relaxed you become. It's also good after exams if your a young witch, such as I.

oh i know, i'm practicly a sky addict i'm always the first person to notice what color the sun set is, or a blue star ... or lmao sorry my brother's cat is eating the dog's food lol he's so weird he likes katch-up(sp?) and all kinds of things. i swear that cat is so weird lol anyway, sorry what was i saying? *re-reads* oh yes, i've been a star gazing, cloud watcher since i was a little kid ^-^ the most amazing concepts come from watching the sky. or anywhere really. once when i was walking home from the bus (it's a mile from the bus stop to my house so there's alot of thinking time) i noticed the shadow of this tiny little rock on the side of the road, and started getting all philosophical from it. maybe i'm just crazy like that though but those realizations do make you feel more at one with things. it makes you more aware, expands the mind, and suddenly you see everything in new light. i believe things like that are the key to disposing of prejudices and such. and if nothing else my kids (as my mother taught me) we learn to use their minds, and be open to new things. if nothing else though it's nice to get lost in the stars *closes eyes and sighs peacefully at the thought* i almost wanted to sleep out side in the yard last night even, now that it's getting warmer i may just do that sometime ^-^

(but sometimes its really hard cuz i live in the city with all the lights, but its not that bad cuz i kinda live in the suburbs of a huge city) Ohh today i was watching clouds for a while - its so amazing and fascinating. I even got my friends interested lol. they come and go so fast and they ahve such cool patterns and shapes. Amazing. It was such a beautiful day. Yes, it is beautiful sleeping outside. Its so much warmer now, you'll be able to do it soon (like in july or something!) You know what i've always wanted to do? go camping in true wilderness for awhilel.....never tried taht before, woudl love to. The sky is truly a fascinating thing...love it.

i'm from Pennsylvannia but my room is not facing the east...its more towards the north i think... and last night at this time i think that the moon was south east...sometimes around 3am i can wake up and see the moon in this window but its moving above the ledge of the window so i can barely see it...when i get my house...i'll have a moon roof :Plol

Ohmygoddess thats sucha good idea Silver lol. Wow a moon roof would be awesome...hmm i'd call it a skyroof instead - cuz i'd be able to see the sun, clouds, stars, moon, etc. Wow imagine that - i want it right on top of my bed. I'd be able to look out whenever i lie down. No wait, i want it for the entire cieling lolllll now im just fantasizing! I'm not THAT rich!! (lol kidding, im not rich at all! but it doesnt matter, were not materalistic people now are we?)
The window in my room is south....so i was able to see the moon last night (cool!) but the room i'm in right now is facing north so i dont really see anything.

lol thanks Wicca Chick i always read essays where they say they sit and watch the moon and starts from their window...and i think how? i don't have that privilage because the moon shows up in my window after 1 am and i have those curtains and blinds..so i wondered if i could at least have a portion of the house with a roof that i could see up with..or a house around an inner courtyard...and it be open to see out and then have a garden within dedicated to the God and Goddess...thats my dream house

Unfortunatly i don't go sky watching that much. Only when I'm really stressed out I do. The reason for it is becuase where I live. In winter its freezing!!! In summer you get eaten alive by mosquitoes, and get all kinds of viruses from them.

wow that would be a nice house silver. lol we should all get sky roofs atleast in our bed rooms, ne? well my room is north facing so in the winter i can see the moon, but like last night, i can't see it at all. i have another window though (it was two really REALLY small rooms but last year we knocked out the wall so i could have a decient sized room ) and that window is facing south, so i see the moon setting from there, if i'm still awake at least. when the moon light comes in through that window though it comes right across my alter and onto the isis gontlet (no clue how to spell that) that is my image of the lady, so it's just perfect ^-^ i live in the hills right now, but i'm moving to the city this summer which will be sad since i'm so spoiled with all these stars. although last night the moon was so bright you could barely see any stars at all. infact the southern sky was pretty light blue o.o

I agree with Syri - that would be an awesome house silver!!! My dream house is to have an indoor greenhouse where i can grow herbs, plants and have an outdoor garden too. I woudl have a room just for my wiccan practices, where i would keep my altar, tools, resources, everything! And that room (and my bedroom too) would have a skyroof type of thing....that would be so awesome. I woudl also want that wall to have a very wiccan/pagan theme...including the walls, decorations, everything! Oh and i would love a huge backyard where there are beautiful trees, lush green grass, gardens, etc. I want to live in the country....with horses in a barn, and i'd have barn cats and dogs. I'd be living in the country....so beautiful. I wont want to live in the city anymore....i've had enough of it! (hehe but not tooo country, just like 20 mins or something away from a city) Hahah we are sooo off topic!!! Its ok though as long as Syri doesn't mind lol!
