Merry Meet everyone!
The message board's kinda quiet right now - so just thought Id try and kick things up and get everybody active again!
So does anyone practice any forms of divination? If so, which?
Any special experiences you wanna share???
Were all ears here! And do share!
Many Blessings, Wicca Chick

My favorite form of divination is runestones. I don't use the the E.F. norse runes but the ones in Scott C.'s a guide for the solitary practicioner (i know, bad spelling). I've read that the E.F. runes are the only true runes but mine have always worked for me! I bought a bag of rocks at the dollar store and painted the runes on my self aftar cleansing\charging them in the stream and all that prep stuff. They have DEFINETLY taught me to trust my intuition more. Sometimes they tell me the most bizzare things but they're always rightlol. I use a pendulum a tiny tiny bit, but want to get more into that. I also just recetly learned hwo to use the Tarot cards, they're really great althought I feel more at home with the runes... maybe I just need to get more used to them. Also I want to say 'dreams' even if it dsnt exactly count. I have some dreams that come true and they always reveal my inner thoughts and answers to life problems. If I have a question I tell my self to dream about it and in teh mornign i've got my answer! Well, does anyone else here use different runes than the E.F.? ~Best Blessings~

oooh wow Lunar, very cool!!!
For me, i always try keeping in touch with my dreams. I find that sometimes dreams really do seek out the future....but soemtimes you jsut have to find the connection between it, and thats not always easy! Ive also tried tea leaves before for divination. I can decipher what they mean but the problem i seem to be having is relating what i've read out of the tea leaves into my life! I find it really hard to connect the two sometimes! For a while I considered scrying with a crystal ball. I was ready to buy one and everything. (They are VERY expensive) but i dont know what stopped me at the last minute. Even a small one can cost almost $200!! So for now, Im just going to stick with scrying in a water bowl. Im still practicing with that though... But you know what's very weird for me....sometimes I think somethings going to happen and it does. For example, a few weeks ago out of nowhere i told my dad to back up his computer. I never said taht before, and i dont even know why i did! (i mean, i dont really care what happens to his computer!) But a few days later, his computer crashed! Well i dont know if it crashed, we lost about everything on it. (unfortuantely, he didnt listen to my advice lol!) I dont know if its coincidence...*shrugz* And theres other stuff too...but I'll stop rambling on now.
Hmm...I *think* thats about it....if anythign else comes up in my mind, I'll let you know!

tea leaves... very intriguing! I've always wanted to give that it's fair shot! yea... I think one of the hardest parts with divination is makign all the "connections." But the prenominition type story you said is a great ability... you must be tapped into your intuition!

Yes, there are many many different ways of scrying! Wow lunar, thats interesting! Ive never heard of scrying with your fingernails....hmph! somethign to loook into/try! Tarot is a popular practice for many wiccans but its weird how i've never felt the urge or attraction to try itout! I dont know, its never really appealed to me. That is very cool Kai Aiden, making your own tarot deck! Do describe Also, how do the tea leaves work for you?

well to make you own tarot deck just realize what each card means (see major arcana in wicca section for basic discrp.) from there just draw a picture of what the meaning means to you (it also helps so that a biginner doesnt have to go look up a meaning boy can that intupt a reading lol
well the tea leaves sometimes work for me someetimes thay just look like nothing lol, its just like looking up at the cloudds and trying to pick out figures.

lol I know what you mean about the Tarot cards!! It was a few months back, maybe two? when I was first learning them and I asked my lil sis If I could give her a sorta "practice" reading to get used to it. I guess I mighta been nervous because I forgot 25% of the meanings and actually was looking them up!!! She just left, she was too bored to stay till the end!! lol, don't you just love looking back on you "beginner" type moments? But don't worry,,, that never happens anymroe lol

when i was just eginning i made a small cheat sheet that was next to me on the table. there is nothing like having to look in the book kind of takes some of the meaning away.
