Firstly, I did not write these, but I thought you might be interested in them:D Prayer for Lughnasadh
Now is the time of the First Harvest, when the bounties of nature give of themselves so that we may survive. O God of the ripening fields, Lord of the Grain, grant me the understanding of sacrifice as You prepare to deliver Yourself under the sickle of the Goddess and journey to the lands of eternal summer. O Goddess of the Dark Moon, teach me the secrets of rebirth as the Sun loses its strength and the nights grow cold.
Lughnasadh is a Pagan harvest festival. source: Pagans.org this was from belief.net. you can find other prayers and information for about any religion there:o
I put in my Elaine Silver cd because I know there is a song on there about the Blue Moon, and here are the lyrics..err..i've searched on the internet..and can't find them..and i also looked in my room for my pack for that cd...and can't find it either..sorry about that..i'm not very organized:P but its a good song..if you find the lyrics or have the cd:D

Ohh that prayer's nice... if anyone else is interested...here's a lammas prayer too: Dear Goddess, queen of the harvest, corn mother, I humbly ask you to watch over me this season and to bless the coming autumn with your endless love. O God, king of the harvest and author of creation, harvest time is almost here. Please send warm sunshine and gentle rains this season so that all of your creature can profit from your goodness. Praise to you, Mother Goddess and Father God, for all you have done for me in the past, and all you will do for me in the future. Blessed Be. Silver - what a good idea!!! (Prayer has been taken from The Wiccan Prayer Book by Mark Ventimiglia, but altered a bit by me, Wicca Chick)
