BackGround Information: On campus, there is a small pond in front of a clock that chime. In the pond there are different fish, probably as big as my keyboard if not bigger. They are a variety of color, orange, white, black, yellow all in one and sometimes seperate like orange and white. Well my mom said someone said that during the winter when the water freezes the fish are still in there, and although I would think it would hurt them, in the spring when it thaws then they move around like normal. So I wrote a poem about fish frozen in time...
Frozen In Time
They gave out at those who rush by Yet they do not race out towards the guest This time of the year they are still, and shy As they remain in the icy, frozen nest
Unaware of the society close And the clock above ringing a chime While an active visitor goes They remain frozen in time
People busily pass them by, fish frozen in a pond Motionless, frozen and ignorant of the clockâs chime They live in an icy world, in a realm beyond Where no actions worry or time exists for the prisoner of time
