Noo im not vegetarian, i know this sounds horrible - but i really like eating meat...I could never imagine just eating vegetables....i nkow, its horrible!!!!! I really do feel SO bad about it though, sometimes i try doing a little prayer for the deceased animal to thank them for their sacrifice before i umm eat them. I know its sooo cruel, but in the end - its the circle of life and a life cycle.
I really wish i had the willpower to be a vegetarian...and i relaly wanna congratulate everyone who is a vegetarian. It must be so hard and it takes a really strong person to do it...

umm although my friends consider me a vegatarian i try to correct them...a vegatarian does not eat meat at all...and i eat fish, shrimp and tuna...my friends for some reason do not consider this being meat...but it was a live animal... i think that eating only those meats is a phase of meditation-someone told me that and i do hope someday to become a vegatarian...but i really like fish...

I'm just about a vegie... lol... I don't like the sound of "sarah do want some dead animal slapped inbetween some bread?" I was vetarian for a few months. Then I got sick... my hair started falling out then i started bleeding inbetween my nails and my skin. I went to the doctors and did some blood tests to find out that i now have an iron deffiency, coz i have not been eating red meat. So it's not all fun and games being a strict vegitarian. Nowadays I eat chicken fish... and sometimes beef and pork... i'll try to get out of it... but i get forced lol.

Oh my goodness! that's horrible. That shouldn't have happened to you just cuz you stoped eating meat. In the Future if you decided to become vegetarian again. make sure to thank a multi vitamin everyday and eat lots of legumes ( i love lentils) and dark leafy greens. also, check out www.peta.org for recipe ideas and nutrition guide lines. i am not a vegitarian...if you think about it...humans are biologicaly programed to be omnivorous(sp?)...eating both meat and vegies...etc...so to be a vegitarian...in my opinion...would be to deny your human nature...and to never acheave a true balance of self...but i do make specifications on the meat i eat...i wil not eat veal...because of the HORRABLE treatment those poor calvs get b4 they are sloughtered...and i try whenever possaable to eat meat from "free range" animals...so at least the animals are happy b4 killed....and i love especialy game meats...like venisin, duck, buffalo, ect...just because thats the way that meat is supposed to be gatherewd...buy hunting...like our ancestors...i bet that there were never any obese(sp?) cavemen/women...bet yeah thats my take on the whole vegitariism thing...

hehe I used to not eat beef for a good long while and I now have just recently decided to become a vegetarian. It's only been about a month now?? Yeah, so it seem kinda little but you gotta start somewhere right! The only weird thing is taking vitamins again, or maybe that's just because my mom's still giving me the little kid's Flinstone's kind hehe. I thought I'd miss chicken too much but chickenless chicken patties are awesome! hehe. Besides all the middle eastern vegetarian food's great too! It's the way the animals are treated while they're alive is what made me change. And at meals I still thank the plants and animals for the sacrifice even if I'm not the one eating the meat But so far it's really made me feel a whole lot better. ooo sorry for going on for so long lol bye!

Oh wow - I really congratulate you guys!!! I never knew there were so many vegetarians out there, and its wonderful to hear about it lol yikes, im not! faery - omg thats horrible! so not eating meat coudl actually cause so much damage to a person? Wow i never knew! omg, do keep eating meat girl, we dont want you getting sick again! omgosshhh!!! Kangaroo meat? I dont know why im so shocked....i guess its not really evil - cause in the end i eat chicken, beef, etc Well Kangaroo meat isnt available here in Canada! but im sure theres plentiful in australia eh Liam - good! glad theres someone else that feels the same way! So im not all alone lol! Lunar - good job, keep it up!!! And its true - even if you dont eat animals, you shoudl thank the plants too. Not only thank the god and goddess for providing us with a bountiful harvest (and therefore meal) but thank the vegetable & plants that were eating for their sacrifice too. Cuase in the end, they do breath to. Its just like, if you picked a flower off a lawn, we'd thank them for its sacrifice. So same if youre eating a carrot or apple or some spinach. -Always be thankful and grateful-Count your blessings everyday- Blessings, ;D Wicca chick

hmm well this is just a lil info on the four different kinds of vegetarians... I only heard one before lol so thought I might share. Lacto-ovo= only eat plant foods, plus eggs and dairy. (make sure you get enough iron)
lacto= only eat plant foods and dairy. (make sure you get iron and protein!)
ovo= only eat plant foods and eggs. (iron, calcium, and vitamin D is what you need to make sure you get)
and finally Vegans = only eat plant foods. Make sure you get enough of all of the above plus Vitamin B12
personally I'm a lacto vegetarian.... any vegans out there?
