I found this awsome book called 'The book Of Goddesses" Its by Nancy Blair.
its not set up into days, like January 1st, but rather in seasons. and there is not a Goddess per day...but I suppose you could work through the book on your own pace, until the next season rolls in.
For example, the Spring section is full of Goddesses who are most evident in the Spring seasons. It has artwork, some information about a Goddess...and then more of a Meditation and Affirmation on each section.
The first Goddess in autumn is WillenDorf Goddess, it has a description, then artwork. on the next page there is an 'excercise' In this one you adress your relationship with your woman body and the goal is to have love towards yourself. -sorry guys...I'm not sure how this would...work for you.- and then she continues on to suggest that you have a conversation with an aspect of your body that you dislike. Asking questions such as 'how can we be friends?" and "How can I show my love?" another suggestion is keeping a journal of these experiences and practicing small rituals of love. The goal of this excercise, is to create a happier relationship with the Goddess within by diminish our dislike towards our bodies...
Then, it provides an affirmation on the page beside it.
"I love the Earth, my Mother, as I love my Woman Body. I am uniquely beautiful inside, outside and all over. I will not live by standards that are not my own. My Body is a miracle." ( Blair 149)
I thought this was an interesting book! And I look forward to finishing each excercise in it. I just thought I'd share this with you!
